Communication & interaction

How a young person communicates, relates to others and experiences the social world — language, social understanding and interactional differences.

Social, emotional & mental health

Anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, regulation and the emotional impact of learning and relationship difficulties at school, at home and beyond.

Sensory & physical needs

How sensory preferences and physical needs shape access to learning, and the adjustments that help a young person take part fully.
